The National Spay and Neuter Program is designed to work with a number of Vet offices, Animal Hospitals and Shelters to reduce the fee to provide a spay and neuter procedure to those that may otherwise not be able to afford. Patrick's Movement Maryland and twitter mission @patricksmovement will be assisting in covering the remaining balance for these procedures.
We are a small group of caring people that would like to be able to provide this service to as many animals in need of Spay and Neuter. Our crowded shelters show that to alter your animal is the most humane thing a pet owner can do. There are over 4 million animals that are euthanized every year just in the US alone. 11,000 a month and 1 every 4 minutes is what the numbers equate to. This is something that we as a society can help prevent.
We will rely on donations to keep this fund alive. 100% of these donations will be going directly to this fund. I will also post monthly reports for the public viewing. The right hand side of the blog you will find our donate button. If you do not have a Pay Pal account you can still donate. I have chosen to house our donations through Paypal so they can be located in a secure and safe place.
SPAY AND NEUTER AFFILIATE PROGRAM
We encourage all Vet offices, Animal hospitals and shelters to sign up for our affiliate program. The need to provide this service is at an all time high. We will work together so we can provide this much needed program. The countries economic situation has many pet owners deciding against getting their pets altered. I would like to have a database of resources in each state that will afford people the opportunity to no longer avoid altering their pet due to finances.
